Arnold, MD. (February 2007) –
Arundel Habitat is proud to announce an agreement with gotügo, a local portable restroom solutions company located in Glen Burnie, Maryland, will donate all of the portable restroom needs for all of our building sites. “Our annual goals for building new, affordable homes in Anne Arundel County and the South Baltimore communities of Brooklyn and Curtis Bay are ambitious,” says Board Chairman Joe Allwein, “We depend on the commitment of socially responsible companies like gotügo who are willing to give back to the community with a much needed and valued service.”
According to Dan Ellis, Arundel Habitat’s executive director, his organization has been ramping up their efforts and plans to build 14 new homes in 2008, up from 12 in 2007. “Our homes are built with a lot of community volunteers, and through a lot of hard work by the homeowners themselves, but some aspects really need the expertise from professional trades.
Jason Foote, President and CEO of gotügo states, “We are humbled to have this opportunity to give back to our community in this way. To be able to say we had a hand in helping Arundel Habitat provide families with affordable housing, is a great feeling!” gotügo provides clean and dependable portable restroom solutions throughout Maryland.
