1) secure your portable restroom unit to a tree, telephone pole, dumpster, or other secure structure with heavy-duty rope, strap, or chain, with the door facing inward.

2) at work sites, put heavy machinery around all portable restroom units to form barriers from winds and flooding.

Due to the High wind warning from Friday 12:00 pm until Saturday 2:00 am that will impact portions of central, north-central, northeast and northern Maryland, northern Virginia. Please consider the following options in securing your portable restroom unit(s) from high winds:

1) Secure your portable restroom unit to a tree, telephone pole, dumpster, or other secure structure with heavy-duty rope, strap, or chain, with the door facing inward.

2) At work sites, put heavy machinery around all portable restroom units to form barriers from winds.
