On Monday, June 22nd, one of the deadliest train wrecks occurred in Washington, DC, killing nine people and leaving many others injured. It was one of the worst train wrecks in the railroad's 33 year history. Later that evening, gotügo received a call from the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority (WMTA) requesting urgent assistance due to the horrific train wreck occurring earlier that day.
