Gotügo is proud to donate its time and services to the 2011 Fish for a Cure fundraiser to support the Geaton and JoAnn DeCesaris Cancer Institute at AAMC on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Fawcett’s building located on Compromise Street in downtown Annapolis.

Last year Fish for a Cure raised over $70,000 to support the Breast Center at AAMC. Our goal for 2011 is to continue to support this great Institute by growing the fishing tournament and raising as much money as possible to help find a cure for cancer.

Fun for the whole family with a variety of food, drinks, live music, an official weigh-in and the awards ceremony. The biggest fish and the winner of the Captain’s Challenge fundraising drive will be announced. This is one of many fundraising events gotügo will contribute to in the year 2011.

Each year, in communities all across America and Canada teams of families, friends, co-workers along with local and national corporations come together to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS’s) Light The Night Walk events to help bring hope to those people battling blood cancers. There will be illuminated balloons, Light the Night T-shirts and wrist bands entitling walkers to enjoy food and refreshments provided to all walkers who become a Champion For Cures by raising $100 or more for the LLS. Gotügo is proud to donate its time and services to the 18th Annual Tee It Up For Education Golf Classic on Monday, October 3, 2011 at The Club at South River in Edgewater, Maryland.

The event will help raise money for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County and for the Annapolis Boys and Girls Scholarship Trust. The Trust, established in 2000, provides financial support for members of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County to attend college after graduating from high school.
